Preparation Tips for a beautiful flawless natural looking tan:

• Before your tanning session, shower and thoroughly exfoliate your skin, paying particular attention to elbows, knees, ankles and any other dryer areas. If particularly dry, dab on a small amount of water based moisturiser to avoid the solution “grabbing” and creating a darker spot.
• Do not use deodorant, body lotion, perfume or makeup to your tanning session. These will act as a barrier to the solution and the end result will look patchy. Also remove all jewellery and tie up long hair.
• Stay cool, avoid getting wet and wear loose clothing while your tan develops.
• For your tan’s longevity, avoid harsh soaps and cleansers, products containing sodium laurel sulphate (this should be avoided anyway), products containing AHA’s and chlorinated water. These will fade your tan more quickly.
• Use a good moisturiser daily to slow down your skins natural shedding process and very lightly exfoliate every few days so the tan fades evenly.
